General Questions

What is Hedrin Lotion?

Hedrin Lotion is applied directly to the scalp and hair for the fast and effective treatment of head lice. Each 150ml bottle should provide 2 treatments on short hair, but longer hair may require more solution.

Each bottle contains the active ingredient dimethicone that can be used on even sensitive skin. It is suitable for children, adults and the elderly aged over 2 months.

What is Hedrin Lotion used for?

Hedrin Lotion is used to eliminate head lice, leaving your scalp feeling soothed and itch-free. The lotion is applied directly to the scalp and hair killing lice in just 8 hours. For best results wash and comb the hair after use and repeat the application after 7 days.

How does Hedrin Lotion work?

Hedrin Lotion contains the active ingredient dimethicone, which is a physical insecticide used to kill head lice.

Physical insecticides work by coating the head lice in the solution which causes them to dehydrate and die. Because of the way Hedrin Lotion works, even after repeated uses head lice are unlikely to become resistant to the treatment.
