Piriteze Allergy Tablets

Piriteze Allergy tablets provide symptomatic treatment of seasonal and perennial allergic rhinitis (hay fever), and chronic idiopathic urticaria (hives).

What are Piriteze Allergy Tablets & what is it used for?

Piriteze Allergy tablets use the antihistamine Cetirizine Hydrochloride to help control the symptoms of hayfever and allergies including pet allergies, skin allergies, mould spores, and house and dust mites.

Piriteze is commonly used to treat symptoms such as sneezing, runny or itchy nose, itchy or watery eyes, and skin itching caused by allergies. It works by blocking the action of histamine, which is a natural substance in the body that is released during an allergic reaction and causes symptoms like itching, sneezing, and runny nose.

What is an antihistamine?

When you are in contact with something you’re allergic to, such as pollen, your body begins to produce histamine. Histamine is an immune response to allergic substances and causes symptoms like watery eyes and sneezing with the intention to remove the allergen from your body. Antihistamines block histamine receptors, helping to prevent those symptoms from occurring right from the start.

Why choose Piriteze Allergy Relief Tablets?

  1. Relief of allergy symptoms: Piriteze is commonly used to relieve symptoms associated with allergies, such as hay fever (seasonal allergic rhinitis) and other allergic conditions, including sneezing, runny or itchy nose, itchy or watery eyes, and skin itching. It can help alleviate the discomfort and inconvenience of these symptoms, allowing people to go about their daily activities more comfortably.
  2. Prevention of allergic reactions: Piriteze can also be used as a preventive measure to reduce the occurrence of allergic reactions in people who are known to be sensitive to allergens such as pollen, dust mites, pet dander, or other triggers. By blocking the action of histamine, Piriteze can help prevent the onset of allergy symptoms.
  3. Management of hives: Piriteze is also used to manage the symptoms of hives (urticaria), which are red, itchy welts that can occur on the skin due to an allergic reaction. It can help relieve the itching and discomfort associated with hives, allowing people to find relief from these symptoms.
  4. Non-sedating option: Piriteze is a non-sedating antihistamine, which means it is less likely to cause drowsiness compared to older generation antihistamines. This makes it a preferred option for many people who need to manage their allergy symptoms while maintaining their normal daily activities and functioning.
